EAGLE MOUNTAIN
HIDDEN HOLLOW TRAILS
There are a lot of miles of trails in the city of Eagle Mountain, centered in and around the area called Hidden Hollow. Pretty much all of these trails are posted on trailforks here: https://www.trailforks.com/region/eagle-mountain-13896/
To the right here is what Trailforks shows for the area. Lots of great green and blue trails, with a few black lines mixed in. Within this area are more than 25 miles of natural trails to ride. You can definitely get your miles in!
This area gets less water in the winter and other months than most areas in Northern Utah and dries faster. There aren't many trees, but, the views are still awesome and the trails will give you a variety of technical rocky to fun berms and features.

It includes our Mountain Ranches Bike Park as well, with wooden features to practice skills, a professional jumpline, and challenging trails with wooden features to ride.

Where to Park
To access our trails in Hidden Hollow, the best places to park are the following 4 places, shown on the maps on  below and map linked here:
  1. Hidden Hollow Elementary (see image on right for more details here)
This is the local elementary school and there is plenty of parking here on off-school hours. This is the most popular place to park.
  2. The "Rock Pile"
The second most popular place to park because of it's central nature to the trails. 1.2 miles from the school up a dirt/gravel road.

  3. Lake Mountain Road (below the gap)
The least used parking access, but a great spot to access our trails and plenty of room. Off Lake Mountain Road, below the gap between Deadwood and Billy Idol trails. You can "shoot the gap" up in the the trails easily within 5 minutes.

  4. Mountain Ranches Bike Park (Golden Eagle Rd)
On the road below the bike park is some street parking, but not much. Please do not park in the neighborhoods in the area and obey parking signage.

Parking near the School
Picture
  1. If you park near the school, there are spots in the school parking lot, but please not during school hours, and obey traffic flow signs, etc
  2. There is a paved road going South from the school. You can park along that road where open.
  3. This is the site of a future (coming in June?) trailhead being built with some solid amount of parking - but don't park in there now.
  4. This is the road that you can drive south about 1.2 miles to the rock pile. It is dirt/gravel, but doable in a car.
PLEASE: be respectful of the neighborhood and the school there at all times.
